So, you see a snake pit. You KNOW it is a snake pit, you can see the snakes! They're right there! Someone has even been nice enough to put up a sign that says "This is a snake pit, and those snakes are poisonous so you should walk around!" And it's totally easy to walk around, it isn't even a very big snake pit. BUT YOU STILL JUMP INTO THE SNAKE PIT. You don't even try to step over it! You're just like HEY SNAKES WHAT UP HOMIES!? Maaaybe you know something I don't, and they want to be friends. BUT I BET NOT. Here you go: ( Lyrics! )So, LAST PROJECT. It's a video called Digital Me. Gotta talk about what the digital world means to me. It's gonna be easy once I get started - I'll talk a lot about how gender becomes optional online. Yeah, if you come out as a lady you'll be judged as a lady, but the thing is you never have to come out as one. I'm certainly not saying that's right, but I am saying it's interesting. Also will talk about the infinite acceptability to knowledge now - anyone can become an expert on anything, really, in the presence of the internet. It's been raining! I ran in the rain at night, which is something I've always been scared of, but as it turns it is AMAZING. I made it two miles! That was an extremely exciting first. I love the way my body feels while I'm running full bore - something about the big wide movements and everything moving by all fast and the THUNDERING OF BLOOD MOVING REAL QUICK. Running is great. Still in love with it. Saberpulse is my current favorite running buddy! Upbeat and techy, good motivatior.

Ok, so first it was this song: by Silbermond. The title means I regret nothing. EVERY SINGLE SONG BY SILBERMOND. jdfklafjkdajfkda I love them so much. ( Eh, may as well try to do these too! (going back through translating moaaar) )Oh man, my translations are so clunky. X.x Anyway, that is maybe my favorite song right now. And then I noticed in the linked videos this song: and it's really not my kind of music, but I couldn't stop listening to it just because the sung part hit me, and because I love listening to spoken German. I couldn't really understand the lyrics though, so I finally looked them up and geeze, dude. Plus, translating them was a lot of fun. (Thanks for being my audience, Travis.) ( Megan takes a stab at translating. )So yeah, classic typical breakup song, maybe even a little on the cheesy side, in a style I don't even dig... buuuut it seems to have hit some kind of soft spot. Man, I need to find more German rock to balance out all this other stuff. :p
